Dr. Camille Little, DDS

Dr. Camille Little grew up in the Philippines. Her family moved to the U.S. when she was 18, and she went on to study electrical engineering at Virginia Tech. She then spent six years as a design engineer — loving everything from the creative process of building a 200-foot automated robot to the tedious minutiae of soldering circuit boards.

But the time spent in front of a screen revealed a missing piece: the human element. She entered graduate school to find fields where her technical skills could apply, and an introduction to biomaterials — the ingredients for tissue and organ replacement, drug delivery, adhesives, and dental implants — immediately piqued her interest.

It was a natural realization that dentistry was a career path where finely-honed engineering skills, like prototyping small circuit boards, would complement her abilities to understand and interact with people.

Dr. Little earned her graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her dental degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, then completed a General Practice Residency program at Jersey City Medical Center as Chief Resident.
