Evening program FAQ
When do evening classes meet?
Monday through Thursday, 6:00pm to 10:00pm. The schedule is built specifically for working students who can't quit a day job to retrain.
Can I really keep working full-time during the program?
Yes — that's the whole point. Most Peak students keep their day jobs through all 13 weeks. Weekends and Fridays are free for rest, family, and shifts.
What if I work nights or shift work?
Talk to admissions. We've worked with students on rotating schedules before. Attendance matters, but we can often help you plan around it.
Are there other evening dental assistant programs in Florida?
Very few — most Florida dental assistant programs run on a daytime college schedule. Peak's evening-only format is one of the only true after-work options in Central Florida.
Does the externship also happen at night?
Externship hours are arranged with your placement office. Many students do externship hours during weekday afternoons or Saturdays in weeks 9–13.
